Overview
As a Senior OutSystems Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing high-performance applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and robust solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your expertise in OutSystems, coupled with your ability to speak Dutch, will enable you to effectively communicate and collaborate with our Dutch-speaking clients and stakeholders.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using the OutSystems platform.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
- Stay updated with the latest OutSystems features, tools, and best practices.
Experience & Qualifications for the Role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with the OutSystems platform.
- Fluency in Dutch and proficiency in English.
- Strong knowledge of the OutSystems platform, including its architecture, development tools, and deployment processes.
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
