Overview

The Pega Client Architect will be responsible for providing technical leadership and architectural guidance on Pega implementations and solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of Pega Platform, ability to work closely with clients to understand their business needs, and the capability to translate these into effective Pega-based solutions. The Pega Client Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients during Pega implementations.
  • Understand client business needs, challenges, and goals, and translate these into effective Pega-based solutions.
  • Lead technical discussions with clients, ensuring alignment on solution design, approach, and architecture.
  • Develop end-to-end Pega architecture and design solutions that align with business objectives and IT strategies.
  • Ensure that Pega best practices are followed in the design and development of the solution.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of Pega application frameworks, components, and interfaces.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality and performance standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing support to the development and testing teams.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Participate in project planning sessions and provide technical insights to support successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.

Experience & Qualifications for the Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Pega architecture, design, and development.
  • Proven experience in leading Pega implementations and working directly with clients.
  • Strong experience in Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) and Pega platform.
  • Experience with Pega integration, decisioning, and case management.
  • Proficiency in Java, XML, JavaScript, HTML, and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL, Oracle) and middleware technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
