Overview

We are seeking a skilled Low Code Developer with a strong background with ServiceNow to join our clients IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop applications on the ServiceNow platform using its low code/no code capabilities, including Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications to meet business needs by creating forms, workflows, reports, and dashboards.
  • Leverage the App Engine Studio to create and deploy applications rapidly.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and integration tools available within the platform.
  • Implement and maintain automation of business processes using ServiceNow's automation tools.
  • Work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other developers on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, including updates, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure that all ServiceNow applications adhere to best practices, security guidelines, and are scalable.
  • Create and maintain documentation for developed solutions, configurations, and processes.
  • Conduct training sessions for users and internal teams on new features and solutions.

Experience & Qualifications for the Role

  • Extensive experience (3+ years) working on the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on its low code/no code development capabilities.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow's App Engine, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow's data model, ACLs, and system architecture.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies used within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Ability to write, understand, and debug client and server-side scripts, business rules, and UI policies.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with ITSM, ITOM, and/or ITBM modules within ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools as they relate to the ServiceNow platform.
