Overview
We are seeking a Functional Analyst for our rapidly expanding niche Software Technology client based in London. Our client has operations in the UK and USA as well as offshore development resources and currently undergoing exceptional growth due to its unique cutting-edge technology solutions within its sector.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Leading and involved in presentations and workshops.
- Leading and involved with the design and training documentation.
- Leading and mentoring junior consultants as required.
- Solving issues and problems.
- Accountable for the successful delivery of completed BPD’s (Business Process Design documents) and follow-on Build, Testing, Training and go-Live Support.
- Act as a liaison between the Project Manager, internal Teams and the business, by building cooperative, constructive, effective relationships.
- Oversee and/or obtains defined approvals for all project deliverables.
- Responsible for ensuring all quality processes and guidelines are followed.
- Responsible for the management of the allocated budgets.
- Responsible for the management of timelines and scope allocated to each assignment.
- Serve as the initial escalation point for all project issues, risks and changes.
- Accountable for Project Resource Model/Management, proactively communicating resource needs and maintaining this working model throughout the project life cycle.
- Following Agile Methodology.
- Facilitates conflict resolution within the team, escalating when needed.
- Establish clear expectations regarding status reporting, team communication and deliverable management.
- Aid in the preparation and/or review of all functional and technical specifications.
Experience & Qualifications for the Role
- Experience in co-ordinating and managing various key stakeholders and relationships, ideally with third party customers.
- 5-10 years business, technical and project management working experience.
- Consulting and Project management experience
- Excellent project planning and proven leadership skills.
- Excellent customer service focus and attitude.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with both the team and with the client.
- Ability to implement practical business solutions under strict deadlines.
- Ability and desire to work with people as part of a high-performance team.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiar with Jira/SmartSheets.
- Confident and can operate independently, Self-starter
