Frontend Developer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend OutSystems Developer to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development and a deep understanding of the OutSystems platform. As a Frontend OutSystems Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that provide an excellent user experience. You will collaborate closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Implement custom front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and OutSystems UI.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to deliver seamless and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain and improve existing applications, ensuring they adhere to current web standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to project managers and stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications for the Role

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development.
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with OutSystems UI and building custom components.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Understanding of web development best practices and design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• OutSystems certification (Front-End Developer).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
